Adobe reader latest release was working fine. When saving a copy of a doc the normal small "Save as" window apperaed as you'd expect.

Now the "Save as" appears as a maximized window and it has no Restore down or up little square box top right. Nor can I resize the window with the edges or corners.
Consequently, I cannot see the document I'm saving behind the "Save as" window.

Anyone any ideas what has changed and how to change it back?

now I'm no expert .....
In my opinion it could be a couple of things
perhaps not enough baking powder?

or perhaps if you resize then close the window while holding the ctrl key?
that's my opinion
but you have no obligation to try or take it
that doesn't mean it's not an opinion...
(actually it isn't an opinion ... it's a fact)

Well AC, I'm not entirely sure that your opinion is worth much as it clearly states in the question that I am unable to resize the window by any means or did you not read that part?

So....even though you think your opinion is in fact a fact, I have to tell you that it's still an opinion as a fact it clearly isn't!

I'd stick with the baking powder if I were you, though I'd bet your computer could get just a little messy (my opinion)

Also, (in my opinion) you might try Specsavers
oh dear .... failed again

I did say there was another option ....
this is like having a puppet ;-)

you say you no likee ...
but I bet you'll try these as well .....

if you can see the title bar double click it ...
if not - type
alt+space | r

I thought every smart@rse knew that ....

ah well ... back to the buns ... enjoy your day
btw ... no charge

Well AC, this time you're dead right

I didn't know that so i guess that makes you the smart@rse according to your standards!

I discovered the double click on the title bar last night purely by chance after asking the question but I didn't want to spoil your fun as your replies are obviously an important part of your day

Bye...
lol
of course ... you already knew ....

but I had fun
