i have seen a really good architectural programme, but it is only for Mac. Since i dont have a mac, is there anything that lets you install a mac programme onto windows or is it impossible?

No, not really.

Is it not available for Windows? I guarantee there'll be a comparable program available.

i emailed the company that produces it, and they say they havent got intention of making it for Windows, which is a shame really because it looks good

Depending on your requirements, Sketchup Pro is a good bit o' software.
