I seem to have lost all my Favourites from the tool bar on the top right of the AOL screen. Is there any easy way to restore them? Sometimes they are there, and sometimes they aren't. Thanks all.

hi smurf try this out and tell me how you get on.
start menu-programmes-accesories-system tools-system restore.
a calendar pops up what you do then is click on the nearest date that is highlighted.and go through the small process that you have to do.
what this does is put your computer back to that date, and u should get all your favourites back,,fingers x.
wouldnt that be great if you could do it with your life..
I am having all sorts of problems with AOL at the moment
I can't log on completely so I am using Mozilla Firefox to access the net. I have phoned AOL who say they are aware
of problems at their end and are trying to sort it.If you would
like to give them a ring the number is 0844 499 5555. good
luck.

Northboy you are a star .. it works !!
Denfol, I have been ringing AOL since last Thursday and getting that same message, on that same number. Fingers crossed now ... I am also using Mozilla Firefox and its much better than AOL.

Hi northboy guess what .. it didn't last ! Back to how it was before !! Should I have to keep doing this ?? AOL is really getting me annoyed now.
i would uninstall your aol and re install it,ie,place your aol b/band disc in comp and do the above, and system restore AFTERWARDS
aol are crap i use to be with them, waste of time.
i am with tiscali and in my opinion are very good and had no trouble in 18 months,,touch wood....GOOD LUCK
if that does not work, when you have all your favourites back again for the short time it lasts, write them all down(your favourites)and start all over again or get rid of aol

I agree northboy, absolutely useless customer services, but I can't be bothered with all the hassle of changing email addresses etc. Thanks again for all your help. :)
