Sound breaking up on wireless phone

We have a Phillips 3 unit wireless telephone network. The sound keeps breaking up on our main base unit, yet the sound on the other two units is fine. Can anybody suggest what's wrong and how we rectify it please?.

Is it a DECT phone? If so google DECT troubleshooting

Is it near a wireless router?

If you can, change the channel it operates on (typically 1-11 or similar).
