auto complete?

Hi I want to save me passwords I have checked web addresses forms and usernames and passwords on forms .
I have not checked the prompt me to save password box.
Anyhow I know it's sad but on neopets it always logs me out and I have to sign in over again.
It used to not log me out if I close the page but now it always does ?
any suggestions please what im doing wrong?
