I have had a few emails sent to me via Outlook Express that are accompanied with a window that says the following. "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page" Obviously a setting needs changing but could someone help a novice by informing me what needs changing and how do I go about changing it. The window with the message does give the option of clicking on "OK" but it would be nice to stop it coming up in the first place. Thanks

Active X is a nice technology..but it allows virus's ...hence they are blocked. Try altering the settings on outlook express to allow acive X (not recommended) to stop the annoying messages. I dont think Active X is needed in email...rather block it and avoid the tears from virus's

Thanks Raydude I'll take your advice and leave things alone. It's not worth the hassle if there are virus's involved.
