SD card reading "Failed" in digital picture frame

I am trying to copy a lot of photos from my computer to a new 2 gb SD memory card, however, when I plug it into my digital picture frame I keep getting an error: "Disk Failed". I tested the SD card on my pc and it works fine. What am I doing wrong? My camera memory card slot works fine.

is there a size limit that the frame can handle? Can you access the photos on the card in your computer when plugged into your card reader
