If you have a column of 500 numbers in excel, how to creat another column in reverse order with last number first and the first becomes last

1. select all the cells in column a (1 to 500) 2. at the bottom rh corner, click and drag to colum b (will repeat column a vals in column b) 3. click b to select column 4. click data|sort, continue with current selection, sort 5. choose sort by B descending|ok
but that only works if the values in column a are already sorted by value (ascending). I think now it's time to learn some visual basic. it's a ten-liner
Select all the data you want to sort (assuming it is more than one column). 1. Copy & paste the list to a new column space. 2. Select the data columns you want to sort. 3. Click the "Data" tab, select "Sort". 4. Click the "Sort By" for the column you want to reverse & click "Descending" followed by ok. The data will then appear in reverse order.
