I had 'dial up' upto a year or two ago, I upgraded with bt business to a lite (cheap) business broadband package with no extras. The line which we upgraded was already installed and was being used for a fax machine - the cost of which was 59.56 a quarter approx of which 2.43 is the cost of the calls (fax) and the rest of the cost is rental charges, vat and the new payment charges. Since the upgrade we now pay an extra 79.92 for the broadband of which rental charges is 68.02 plus 11.90 vat added. So as I am not using the fax really at all (2 calls) it is costing me 139.48 to have business broadband? Is this normal, what do other people pay.

Hi 'what...the' what is the advantage of 'buisness broadband' over ' normal broadband' ......is there some reason why you can't use normal broadband ,say option 3, this gives unlimited use at 75 /quater

Because I work in an office block, they come and install the line as a bt business line and it remains buisness as apposed to residential forever. We have never benifited from the 'business' service at all it is just the only line we can get where we are.
