Digital Photo Frames

This seems to be the latest gadget hitting the shops and many of the stocks were sold out. They cost from 50 to 200, Do you think they are a good idea?

Hi 'kwicky'........my wife and II got one for christmas ( a 7" model 90). They are something very different having effectively a permanent 'slide show' instead of just one photo. My wife thinks it's great having lots of pictures of the grandchildren, but I am not sure it will be so appealing once the novelty 'wears off'.........Yes they are fun, but personally I would not not have bought one.

The bottom line is that it's just another gadget that needs yet another electrical socket!

I was given one for Christmas and it is by the side of me now up and running and displaying photographs that were just destined to stay on my computer. Each time my wife passes it it's almost as if she's paying homage though really she is just scrutinising the photographs.
Having a plethora of 'first grandchild photographs' it is a novel way of rotating and updating of them and it is very easy on the eye!
