I was once told that when buying a tv you should buy a LCD screen if the tv is 37" and under and buy a plasma screen if you are going over the 37". Would this be correct advice? What is your opinion on this matter? Thanks.

hi..
we have got a 20" LCD and a 42" plasma, they are both very good and we were told the same advice from currys etc. i think they are correct, plasma tv's use up a lot of enery though. get lcd if you are going under 35" and plasma over that.
