itunes wrong song lengths

i recently put some songs on itunes, but in the "time" column it is saying that they are about 20 minutes long when they are more like 4 minutes. The weird thing is, if you just let them play through, they stop and go to the next one, but if you seek through the "twenty minutes" it manages to fill it up with bits of the song. Any idea what the heck is going on!? Thanks
