Did you keep the file you downloaded ?

If so you should be able to re-instal it again.

I assume they sent you a product activation code in an e-mail to type in, if so just type that in again during install.

If you have lost the file you downloaded I am sure you can find a trial version on their site. Just download and install that and enter your code.
Note there are plenty of excellent FREE security products on the web, no need to pay for Norton.

I use the free version of AVG anti-virus and have done for about 3 years with no problem (and no cost to me).

I also use the free version of Zone Alarm Firewall which is also excellent.

Adaware and Spybot are two "spyware" products that are also free and worth installing.
Norton is nothing but trouble and also a memory hogger. AVG and ZA are the best about and also free. I would suggest you used them but do a google search and find just how to remove Norton (and it ain't easy) cut your losses and opt for the free stuff as vehelpfulguy and I suggest and I think your IE problems will sort. Sometimes with IE problems it pays to uninstall/reinstall. Just click on start, control panel, add/remove programs, and click on the left under add/remove windows components. You will see IE there so uncheck the box and remove it, and reboot. Then go back through the same sequence, check the box to add it back and often this will sort out the problem. before you do either create a restore point.
I've also had major problems in the past with Norton and wouldnt use it again as, even protected up to the hilt, I still had to throw my PC in the skip when somethin nasty got into the hard drive and zapped all the drives so I couldnt reload my system discs. I couldnt trust Norton again.

I personally like MacAfee but as its costly I use the free edition of AVG and also Windows Defender.
