I have all my songs for my Ipod on ITunes on my old laptop. I'm thinking of buying a new laptop but am worried that I will lose all my songs and have to start over again. Can I transfer ITunes and it's contents from one laptop to another? TIA

years ago No but recently apple have been more generous and i think you can put it on up to 3 or 4 computers in your home.
Yes it's easy.

You could use your iPod, if you have one, but this method is easier and also serves as a backup too.

Once you've followed the steps in that article, download iTunes onto your new laptop and insert the DVD (like the article says for restoring your library), and your entire library will be copied.

Keep the DVDs, and if you ever have problems, you will always have a backup.
You can try Tansee iPod Transfer which can backup songs and videos in iPod to PC, copy iPod songs and videos to new ipod, computer or notebook.

I share Cucusoft iTunes to iTunes Transfer. It can backup your own iTunes library or synchronize multiple iTunes on different computers.
