screen resolution keeps changing

Hi my laptop screen resoltion keeps changing back to a small resolution everythin it comes out of sleep mode ot starts up

it makes the font look slightly blurred..so i go in everytime into the display setting (i am using vista) and I clck on apply and it goes back to the size I want..but when i start it up again it then goes back to the wrong setting.. I am not sure why it does this cos it should stay on the one you set it too

please help..is there an option on vista that i am missing
