What is the best digital camera for shooting snow scenes, with a budget of around 750-1,000? I've read that the camera would really need "fill-flash" and allow you to use the flash in broad-daylight (to light up snowdrops for instance). It should also allow you to adjust the setting to between +0.3 and +1.0 EV to slightly overexpose and return the snow with its proper whiteness. Can I do all this with a compact or would I need an SLR? I am a bit of a beginner, as you can tell!
