iam using windows xp and i have unticked all boxes in SETUP but was told some of them need a tick in,can any1 tell me which ones to tick

You can untick them all, it was only systray in Win9x which needed ticking.

However, if you have [b]Antivirus[/b] or [b]Firewall[/b] software set to to start when Windows loads then leave the boxes as they are. If you do uncheck the boxes then you can still start the applications from the start menu.
