sound problem on dvd set up

I fited new 18x dvd+/-rw/ram IDE m/bezel.
I get good picture when i play back dvd
but no sound, I get sound on everything
else to my pc but not on dvd.i think i need
advice. Please can enybody help

Did you connect the drive to your sound card when you fitted it? If you did, are the drivers for the new drive up to date?
