hitachi tv

i have a hitachic2146tn tv and whenever it is on a code appears top centre of the screen, the code is C46TN in white letters about 2 inches tall.
can anyone help cheers ian.

The TV is in factory set up mode.

Using the Remote Control, press two VCR REC buttons together. The MENU will appear, then switch to standby. Turn appliance back on and prompt should have disappeared.
