If memeory serves, i'm pretty sure anything you buy on i tunes can only be played on an i pod, some sort of software apple put into the thing where you can't play on any other mp3 player.
If you get the track again, you should have got a software disc and a USB cable with the phone, all you do is download the software onto your pc and it's self explanatory from there.

i have the usb cable connected and software on my pc, for some reason i still cant transfer it on to my phone but i can when im using cd's!
I'd advise you to never purchase songs from most legal stores, right now. This includes the iTunes music store. The songs are crippled with something called DRM, which is just as bad as spyware. Basically it stops you doing things like this, and it's terrible.

To get it to play, burn the file to an audio CD with iTunes (make sure in preferences it's set to burn an audio CD, add your song to a new playlist and then burn that playlist), and then re-import that file, which should now be a regular aac or mp3 file. This will play on your phone.

What a shame, i only bought it from itunes because i thought id be able to put it straight on my phone as itunes is cheaper than buying a cd, oh well. Thanyou fo3nix.
