My Pioneer Hi-Fi won't remember settings and returns to factory settings each time its turned on.

My Pioneer Hi-Fi doesn't remember saved radio stations or any other settings, its as if its been disconnected everytime and returns to factory settings each time, like when you disconnect it. Can anybody tell me why this is and how to fix it?
