Nokia 6280

My 6280 has a tendency, every now and again, and for no apparent reason, to temporarily lose some of the phone numbers stored on both the phone and the SIM. This only corrects itself when I turn my phone off and on again (that classic technique!). Obviously, this can be a pain when trying to find people's numbers, sending texts and receiving calls. Anyone any ideas..???
