Is it safe to use UK 240 volt electrical products, such as battery chargers or shavers, in the USA which has electricity of 110 volts?

some of them have a switch for that purpose so you can choose the voltage. I know my shaver does.
You can get an adaptor to put into the socket there to plug your electricals into.
They sell them in shops where they have those stands with holiday accessories.
