I have received an email via my daughter's workplace from above 'mothers against drink driving' and am a bit wary as it originates from America It requests the body of letter be passed on to everyone I know adding a signature. When it reaches 5000 it is requested it be sent to an address in America My concern is due to the fact it has a statement it is protected by a SPAM blocker utility and request I click to protect my inbox from spam so I assume there is a hidden agenda here. Has anyone else experience of this and is it really safe?

thanks ugly_bob I thought so
NEVER send on an e-mail that asks you to forward it to everyone you know, whoever it is from.

I think MADD is a genuine organization, but the world has enough spam as it is without creating more.

As you say vehelpfulguy it would be too risky to send hence my contact with AB which may act as a warning to others. I am also aware that MADD is itself quite genuine although when it was mentioned in the press a while back I thought it was a British organisation started by a mother who lost a child to a drunk driver - maybe I'm wrong there and not sure what purpose is intended for the petition anyway unless there is financial gain by the spam blocking company?
