running 2 computers on broadband?

Please could anyone tell me how I can run my computer of my next door neighbours broadband connection. He has an apple mac computer and we have a pc. what would we need to do. Thank you for the info, Clarelouise.

Your next door neighbour should get a broadband router which you can share the broadband. Just run a CAT5 cable from the router to your PC.

OR, get a wireless adsl broadband router with built in modem (mine is the SMC Wireless ADSL Barricade), and set up a a wireless network. If you dont have the wireless NIC's you'll have to get these (most new laptops have wireless built in now).
Nice idea jimlad but will you get a Mac compatible wireless card?
Not a Mac expert as PC's are my thing, but a quick search on the t'internet shows that you can get wireless NIC's for the Apple Mac.....not too sure where you'd get one though....
