I recently changed my browser to Mozilla Firefox. However, when selling on eBay I'm unable to type the description the way I used to be able to with Internet Explorer. Instead I have to use HTML which is a chore. Is there a way to get round this?

No.

Most Firefox users use Turbolister for ebay listing.

This has added advantages such as fancy templates and a 'save' feature - which means you list in your own time, and upload to ebay when you are ready.

It is free, and saves you the aggro of using HTML.
Another thing i`ve found using firefox on ebay is when you ask somebody a question a box appears asking you to type in an authenticated code but no letter/numbers appear in the adjacent box. Very annoying
How odd. You get the verification box on all browsers, but I can see the code on Firefox.

Very strange.

Thanks for all your answers. I will have a look at TurboLister, Ethel :).
Do you have any suggestions Ethel on what the problem maybe?
Not much help, teash, because I don't know - but it has to be something to do with your browser settings.

I have had a quick scout - and you are not the only one with this problem but I can't find a solution.

Have you tried emptying your cache and temp files? It seems to work for some.

Oh - and is javascript enabled?
Good grief Ethel i`m a total novice how the bloomin heck do I find out about that javascript :)

Cheers Ethel yer a star
I can solve yer problem instabtly shazza, don't use Firefox, it's a pain in the .....
What exactly do you mean, shazzabell?

I use Firefox and when entering the description I get two tabs (HTML & one-I've-forgotten-possibly-Normal) to choose how I want to enter it. Using the non-HTML one, I can make simple changes to fonts, colours etc. it's more or less WYSIWYG.
