VBS files.

I recently obtained some OEM software and when I tried to install it Norton told me a malicious script had been detected containing a VBS file. Is it safe to install? Some people say Norton does this with all new software but I'm not sure. Many thanks BB

A VBS files is a Visual Basic Script file and can be a valid file.

If you are happy about the source of the software (in other words it is the genuine product CD rather than a copy downloaded from a file share program) then it is probably fine.
