restore my computer

my computer is nor working properly, so i wanted to totally put it back to normal with my restore CD... but the problem is that the cd is undected when i restart my computer... the instrustions given is to insert cd and restart computer, then follow the instrustions... i have done this many times before but this time its just not working... my computer is going as slow as slow can be and i cannot do anythin without waiting 5 mins. please someone help me, why is my computer unable to be restored. Tyvm J.P

my computer is windows XP and it is eMachines

Just a shot in the dark but, It could be that your computer is set up to first boot from the hard drive meaning it doesnt even look for a cd when loading up. You may have to go into the settings when the computer first loads up to see the order that the computer boots from and make sure the cd option is first

This could be a problem of CD drive of computer so you can try to boot up the system through bootable pen drive. There are certain software’s available in market through which you can avail a boot option. After inserting pen drive in port start your computer and press F2, then select the boot options and install windows. Still the problem persist then contact http://www.go4customer.com/uk/
