I have just installed Mozilla Thunderbird, which I like. I successfully imported all my stuff from OE, with the exception of I Hate Spam, which I had paid for. Does anyone know if the two programs will work together, and what I should do ? Thank you.

I would doubt it. But apart from losing your money, you aren't losing anything else really. Thunderbird has its own very good bayesian spam filter.

Thanks. It does seem to filter spam well, but I hate paying for something then not using it. I'll just leave well alone now.
