We have normal Sky at the moment but have recently been given the in-laws Sky Plus box as they have now moved house and have NTL. They are sure it won't work on our system - does anyone know if it will and if there are ways round it!?

First you need two cables going to a Sky plus box, a normal Sky box only has one (the engineers will need to fit something extra to the dish and run another cable from the dish)

Secondly, I think you need a new Sky card to work with the Sky+ box.

Why not phone Sky and ask them how much it would cost to fit a Sky+ box when you already have the box.

Or you could go Multiroom for an extra 10 a month. This will give you the Sky+ box in one room and the normal Sky box in another.

You can watch different things on each box. With the Sky plus box you can watch one thing while recording another (or record two things at once)

Once you have a Sky+ box you will never want to go back.
