A little window pops up when i try to open a file

When I download the file a little pop's up & it say's there is no viewer's registered for this type office, woud you like to try default viewers so i click yes it say's the file can not be opened for quick view it may be open or locked by anther application or may not have access to it.

Hiya Phil. I'm certainly no expert but I've a suggestion you could try. If it doesn't work it won't do any harm. D/click My Computer - Control Box - Add/Remove Programs - Windows Set-Up (middle tab) - Accessories and click Details and make sure the Quick View is selected. Then click OK all the way back to the Control Box and see if that works.
