USB PCI card

Got a NewLink USB 2.0 4 port PCI card yesterday but the BIOS seems to be having problems with it. I put the card in and boted up but the PC got stuck at the section of the boot that says "Initializing Plug And Play Cards". Took the card out and it works fine. Anybody got any ides? I can't find anything in the PCI section of the BIOS that allows me to turn off BIOS PNP which I thought might be one way out.........

You could try it in another PCI slot. It sounds as if the card is faulty.
Also, make sure the PCI card is properly pushed in.

Thanks, done both but no joy. Looks like I might have to take it back unless it's my aged PC's fault......
