My Philips mobile phone was working fine until a few days ago when I tried to make a call and got the message "IMSI Failed". I can now neither make or receive calls. Can anyone help as I am I know next to nothing about the things!

As far as I know, IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) failed means your phone's been barred from all networks and you might as well use it as a paperweight. :o(
