If its a automatic one thats changes region just by putting in a disk then maybe - RCE was created to work on automatic systems. If however you have to type in the region by doing a weird combo of keys that you should be fine as the DVD player locks onto that region getting past the RCE. It tends to only be Warner Brothers films that have RCE on them but ring up where you got it from and they should be able to tell you as the DVD manual wont have that info. I had a problem with my old auto region select player but not with my new one as i have to key in the region code.
