You need sound manipulation software. I can recommend SoundForge but it you will have to buy it (or beg, borrow or steal it). There are, however, free or shareware applications out there (try searching http://www.tucows.com
).
You can do it for free by downloading music match from www.musicmatch.com and converting the mp3 into a wav file then chopping it down using sound recorder which comes with windows save it then convert the file back to a mp3. most mp3's are about 2-8 megs in size i cant think how you cant fit ONE onto a cd.
Deore is absolutely right about the .wav bit but I think the Windows Sound Recorder is limited to only 2 minutes of sound! I must admit that a 700 MB plus .mp3 is a hellava long extended remix.
The reason this mp3 is so long is it's the audio books of harry potter series, when its converted to wav its huge, Thanks for your help, ive managed to do it and the first book is nearly 10 cd's long! Cheers
