ipod help

hi all iv just downloaded a few albums to put on my i pod but for some reason when i drag them into itunes its as if nout happens the music dose not go onto my ipod. i have loads of music on there without any problems what is the problem with the new tracks. i still have 17gb to use up on there. cheers
