Powerpoint presentations

I want to be able to make a powerpoint presentation consisting of a slide show with music playing in the background. Am I being thick? I can only work out how to attach music to single slides as opposed to the whole show. Or play a CD concurrently. I want to be able to save the whole thing on a disc including the music and play back the entire show in different locations so I need music on the presentation as well. Can anyone help me??

Insert your music clip onto your slide. Then in Custom Animation you can set the sound to play for x amount of time or x amount of slides.
