Slideshow Not Working

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

I have Windows 10, I save my photos under Pictures, and in each folder I go to Management Tools, then Slide show. Never had problems before but now Slide show doesn't work. I can get individual photos. Any ideas please?

These instructions (which will hopefully fix your problem) are based upon Windows 11 but it should be much the same in Windows 10:

Click the 'Start' button and look for 'Photos' in the list of apps. (If you can't see it at first, click on 'All apps').

Right-click on it and select 'App Settings'.

Scroll down to 'Reset' and click 'Repair'.

Sorry not to have replied before to thank you - family illness (all Ok now)

Thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately still couldn't get it to work. In the end I created a completely new folder for the new photos and transferred them individually to this, and then deleted the original folder and this seemed to do the trick, no idea why! But thanks again!
