Thats what i thought but unless ive not done it right then still not allowing me to continue
Problem is, if it’s a link, it’s not via an app.

Does it not show an option to enable it on the screen?
If its a link is it opening a browser? In which case the browser is the app to give the permission to.

Give it temporary access, you dont want a browser having camera access.

It is a link and it comes up "enable camera"
Could you take a screenshot of where you get to and post it on here via imgbb

Im going to have to see if grandson can help as its driving me nuts, solicitor shut over weekend anyway
Do you not have a laptop or tablet?
Assuming that you're using 'Samsung Internet' (which is Samsung's own web browser), the default setting for the camera is 'Ask every time'. That appears to be what's happening in your case, so simply tapping on 'Enable camera' is all that you should need to do.

If, for some reason, that isn't working, change the setting from 'Ask every time' to 'Only when using the app'. To do so, go to . . .
Settings > Apps > Samsung Internet > Permissions > Camera.
As said above you need to give permission for your web browser to access the camera, not the Camera app
In Settings go to security and privacy, then permission manager, then camera, then select the browser, Chrome or whichever you use and allow permission there.
I'd turn it off again afterward though

Grandson reckons he knows what to do so sure i will get sorted, thanks all
Have you actually tried simply tapping on 'Enable camera'? It should really be all that you need to do.
If you had a servant who couldn't open the shutters when you asked him to, you'd sack him as an idiot (if you were a strict master/mistress).
How can people talk about artificial intelligence? Computers are stupid. Of course it's not their fault; they are programmed by idiots who don't understand human needs and can't programme for toffee. A human, however stupid, would know exactly what you wanted if you shouted loud enough and did a mime or 'read my lips' show.
