not quite sure what you mean by 64-96 but if thats bitrate then the sound quality will be noticeably poor.
i never use any audio files below 128.
if you say the average mp3 file is 4Mb in size and a CD is 700Mb then 700 divided by 4 = 175 songs(approx)
