how do i locate my downloads in documents and settings

yes i know this is very simple but i can't find it on my pc.so how do i locate my downloads in documents and settings which is where i accidently sent a download.i found the download by searching but whats the usual click links to find it in windows xp

Why not make a shortcut to it on your desktop once you find it...I do to all my much used folders..........commoner ;-)
