Gotta new HP DeskJet Plus 4120 printer. Ready to use but can't change pre-set portrait to landscape. Much time wasted trying to get through to Hewlett Packard. Please advise.

To change default print settings, open the HP printer software, click Print & Scan , and then click Set Preferences - Orientation: Select Portrait for vertical prints or Landscape for horizontal prints.

Does that help?
See page 19 (physical page 25)

Printers & Scanners screen shows printer in idle, default mode. Set preferences isn’t an option. Typing ‘orientation’ in top right search slot produces zilch.
^Is that you under a slightly diffrent name andy?
To change the pre-set portrait to landscape on your HP DeskJet Plus 4120 printer, go to the control panel and find the printer and devices. Now click on Preferences > Orientation. In orientation, you will see an option to change the portrait to landscape and set it as default.
