I've put this is CB for better coverage. My daughter works for Student Loans and has asked me to pass this on through forums and social media there is a scam going around regarding student loan payments, Fake emails are being sent to students and in some cases parents, advising that their second payment, due I think today, has not been processed due to an error in their banking details. It provides a link to a fake site where you are asked to input your bank account details. Also in the email it gives a 'helpline' number, that if you call is a super high premium number which can charge you a fortune to listen to a recorded message. Even if you have no students please forward this to anyone you know who has a family member getting student finance. many Thanks.
