cd freezes

50-70% of the time, my computer freezes when you put a CD in but other times it is fine. Do you know what is wrong with it and how to fix it.

...most likely it is time to get a new drive.....but latest drivers might do the trick......A DVD drive would be more use to you anyway and they are simple to fit...just about the simplest DIY job you can find on a PC....commoner.
