Hi

I would like to connect my laptop to my stereo, as I want to be able to play music stored on the laptop via the stereo. HOW?

Depends on the stereo, but I expect all you need to do is purchase a stereo 3.5mm jack to 2 phono lead and then plug the jack into either the headphone socket in your laptop, and plug the two phono plugs into the line-in on your stereo. If your stereo doesn't have a phono line-in, it might have a 3.5mm jack microphone input, in which case you'd have to get a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack cable, and plug it into the appropriate sockets (although if the stereo does work like this you might have to select "tape" on the stereo and press record & play on your tape player. (Although I expect the first method is more likely to be the way you need to do it!)
