For the past couple of months I have been losing weight, not much, almost half a stone but friends have noticed it. Also a strange symptom, my elbow is very sore when I lean on it. And I dont know if its connected but since Tuesday I have been very tired, I just want to shut my eyes and sleep, also quite achey, and now with a dry cough. I know all the symptoms together sound odd, I dont know if they are connected, is it just a virus do you think? Thanks all

Unexplained weight loss should never be ignored. Your elbow is very unlikely to be connected to your weight loss or fatigue. At the very least you should talk to your GP and list all your symptoms and get some routine bloods done.
Routine blood tests from the GP but it could just be the weather, more salads, less chocolate and poor sleep at night. Best to get it checked btw how old are you
The cough needs checking if it goes on over three weeks anyway. Could easily be a virus

but get yourself checked out by your quack (erm, I mean 'GP') anyway.
" is it just a virus do you think? "

Yes, that would be my first guess......Ibuprofen 400mgms three times a day and monitor the situation for the next 7-10 days.
If no improvement after ten days, then see your GP.
no one has asked what your appetite/diet is like. Are you eating less?
