check your speed with speedtest (http://www.speedtest.net/) . turn your router off for a about 30 secs then restart see if any improvement

Thanks ivor I'll do that.

There was a piece on the BBC's 'Click' programme a week or two back which I didn't listen to, but the gist was that due to new internet protocols things might get slowed down. Wish I'd listened now!

Mine's been dire the last few days, Sky and Norfolk, not a good combination. I've been marking exam papers and it's been a nightmare.

Friday was awful, quite unusual for us on Broadband in London! But come Saturday, all back to whizzing normal, but maybe a good reminder of how fast it normally is.
