Help needed! I have a friend in Navada and want to keep in touch. Emailing works from the computers at my workplace, but not on my personal email address at home. Any ideas?

When you say it doesn't work from home, what sort of error message do you get?

It could be that for some reason BTOpenworld (or your particular home email address) is on their blacklist.

Hi Aquariel - Not sure if I am on any blacklist!

Seems strange that I recieve and can send emails from my work email to the powernet address. No message comes through stating that the email has been blocked, in fact nothing at all.

Thank you for your comments anyway.

deanna.

OK, you might not be on a blacklist, but you may not be on a "whitelist" either.

The powernet.net site seems to be down, but from the Google cache I get the following page which might help your recipient to check if your email is being filtered as potential spam from your home address:

Good morning Aquariel - I have clicked on to the site but receive 'page not available', so I will visit Google later today. Thank you.
