Digital Radios Picking Up More Stations In Same Location

I first discovered my large Roberts DAB radio (2002 with timed recording and full screen) wasn't picking up all the new stations in the front room when Talk Radio started and it only tuned in when it was upstairs and didn't find it at all otherwise.

I just tried a Logik I bought for someone else and that not only picks that up but also Talk Sport 2 and probably a few more on top. My Roberts has 57 stations now, and unless I take it upstairs won't find Talk Radio but now I know it's the radio not the signal. Is there anything I can do to fix this as I'm not changing the radio if not as it cost an arm and a leg and isn't made any more.

I Am Calculating The Load On A Shs Column, I Have Worked Out The Load Imposed, The Fc But I Do Not Know What The Pc Axil (Compressive Strength Should Be, Is There A Table I Can Use? The Column Is A 90X90X5 Shs 2.4M High With A 12.78Kn Load
