Look closer, Wideboy. The Panasonic phone referred to in that link is for a cordless phone, not a mobile. I've just spent 20 minutes trying to find my way around the Panasonic web site to see if they've carried the technology across to mobiles. (They've got flash animations on their website that take ages to load on dial-up connections with no 'skip intro' button!).

I've given up trying to find out whether any of the 4 Panasonic mobile phones currently on sale in the UK support Welsh predictive text, so I'll settle for suggesting an e-mail to Panasonic:

Sure enough Buenchico, it seemed to be all about text messaging to mobile phones then went into a cordless phone - most importantly it was from 2003 (didn;t see that) - case of 'pie in the sky'?.

PS. We now have a Panasonic cordless phone that can send and receive text messages - very handy (not kidding!). (Especially when you have two 'kids' who use text a lot)
